Craft supplies needed
- cardstock
- washable paints ( we use these for all of our handprint art)
- paintbrush
- Wipes!! It helps to have these handy so you don’t make a complete mess of your table!
How to use
Print out the template below, it will print out on one full page. Make sure to check your spam folder if you don’t see it in your emails within 5 minutes.
You can of course print this on normal printer paper, but with all of our crafts, they always look better on cardstock.
Let the kids decide what color handprint they want to use, we have chosen to use blue for our wings.
Use a small paintbrush to add a thin layer of paint to their hands. Make sure you have the wipes handy!!
Place their palms in the middle of the page with their fingers pointing to opposite sides of the page. Press down all along their hand to make sure the handprint transfers fully.
Pull your child’s hand off really gently to avoid any smudges.
Let the paint dry completely before coloring in the letter W.
The most important thing though is just to have fun with this handprint art!
