Whether you’re looking for an easy holiday craft or a quick learning activity, these printables are the perfect addition to your Thanksgiving plans!
Supplies needed:
- cardstock (but printer paper will work too)
- coloring pencils
- coloring pens (these are great for the outline, and are the ones we used)
How to use
Using these Thanksgiving dot-to-dot worksheets is simple and requires minimal effort. First, print out all four pages, making sure your printer is set to portrait mode for the best results.
The worksheets will print in black and white on full-sized pages, allowing plenty of space for kids to complete and color their designs.
While regular printer paper works just fine, for a more durable and polished finish, we recommend printing on cardstock. This thicker paper helps the artwork last longer, especially if your little ones want to proudly display their completed pictures.
The four festive designs you’ll find include:
A turkey dot to dot leg and a fully cooked Thanksgiving turkey. A fun combination of the centerpiece of many Thanksgiving feasts, perfect for children to connect the dots and color in, bringing their turkey to life.
A pumpkin, cornucopia, squash, and another turkey. This harvest-themed image highlights the bounty of fall, from the iconic pumpkin to the cornucopia, overflowing with squash and vegetables, offering a great opportunity for kids to explore different shapes and details.
A pumpkin pie, and a slice of pie. The beloved Thanksgiving dessert, a whole pie and a slice, giving children a chance to draw and color the delicious, warm tones of a pumpkin pie ready to serve.
A pilgrim’s hat and an Indian headdress. These symbols of the early Thanksgiving story help children visualize and connect with the holiday’s history, adding an educational element to the activity.
These no-prep worksheets are perfect for keeping children engaged. Whether in a homeschool setting, classroom, or as a fun Thanksgiving activity at home. After connecting the dots, encourage the kids to add their own creative touch by coloring in the images.
