Star Wars Matching Game
We’ve played printable memory games for years, and this Star Wars matching pairs game has been a longtime favorite—especially when my son was little and somehow always beat me! Even now, he still loves playing, mostly because he enjoys winning.
This printable Star Wars memory game is simple to set up and great for family game nights, Star Wars Day, or themed birthday parties.
How to Prep the Star Wars Game
Print the Star Wars printable game using the link at the bottom of this post. It includes one page with 12 different Star Wars images. To play, you’ll need to print it twice so you have pairs to match.
Make sure your printer is set to portrait orientation, and check the settings before printing.
Optional: Let kids decorate the backs of the cards before cutting them out for a little extra creative fun.
Once printed, cut out all 24 cards. I recommend using a paper cutter for speed and straight edges, but scissors work just fine too. If you’re planning to use this game often, laminating the cards will help them last longer.
How to Play the Star Wars Match Game
Lay all the cards face down in rows (4 rows of 6 cards works well). For older kids, you can mix things up and scatter them randomly.
Each player takes turns flipping over two cards. If the images match, keep the pair. If not, turn them face down again and try to remember where they are.
Keep going until all matches are found—the player with the most pairs at the end wins! You can even reward the winner with a fun Star Wars sticker.
