You can of course print this on normal printer paper, but with all of our crafts, they always look better on cardstock.
Let the kids decide what color handprints they want to use, we have chosen orange for our peacock feathers.
Use a small paintbrush to add a thin layer of paint to their hands. Make sure you have the wipes handy!!
Place their hands with their fingers pointing upwards towards each corner of the page, with their palms on either side of the peacock’s body.
Press down all along their hand to make sure the kids handprint transfers fully.
Pull your child’s hand off really gently to avoid any smudges.
Let the paint dry completely before coloring in the letter P and the peacock’s body.
The most important thing though is just to have fun with this handprint art!
