Supplies needed
- cardstock
- washable paints
- paintbrush
- kids glue
- googly eyes (Optional)
- Wipes!! It helps to have these handy so you don’t make a complete mess of your table!
How to Make Your Octopus Craft
Print the octopus page—it’s a full sheet and best printed on cardstock for durability.
Let your child pick the paint color for their octopus arms. We went with red, but any color works!
Use a brush to lightly coat their hand with paint.
Place each hand at the bottom corners of the page, palms just below the octopus’s face, fingers and thumbs spread out like tentacles.
Press gently and evenly, then lift their hand carefully to avoid smudging.
Once dry, they can color in the octopus face and the letter O.
