You should include that she was a senator, that is quite significant. Also, why do you include a page about her parents and where they were born but not do the same for Donald Trump? His father was a first generation German immigrant and his mother was a Scottish immigrant. Seems you only include parent info for people of color. Since you are using these pages to teach kids, you should be more careful not to teach racism with how you present, or don’t, information.
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate your attention to detail. Just to clarify, her role as a senator is indeed included in the free coloring pages, as it’s an important part of her career.
Regarding family background, each worksheet highlights different aspects of a person’s life to align with the themes I’m aiming to teach. For Kamala Harris, her parents’ heritage helps introduce discussions on cultural diversity, which relates to her public work and impact. With Donald Trump’s worksheet, the focus is a bit different, touching on other elements of his background. I appreciate your input and will keep it in mind as I create future resources. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts!

Kamala isn’t black
I would never wish to assume, therefore I made sure that is how she identifies: https://kamalaharris.com/meet-kamala-harris/
