This is such an easy and fun handprint craft and a great way to learn the letter H.

Kids love getting their hands covered in paint, and I have to admit I love it too! It’s so much fun allowing the kids to be creative while learning.

How to use

Print out the template below, it will print out on one full page. Make sure to check your spam folder if you don’t see it in your emails within 5 minutes.

You can of course print this on normal printer paper, but with all of our crafts, they always look better on cardstock.

Let the kids decide what color handprint they want to use, we have chosen red for our heart.

Use a small paintbrush to add a thin layer of paint to their hand. Make sure you have the wipes handy!!

2 red handprints

Place their hands with their fingers pointing downwards towards the bottom center of the page in a heart shape. Press down all along their hand to make sure the handprint transfers fully.

Pull your child’s hand off gently to avoid any smudges.

Let the paint dry completely before coloring in the letter H. We drew a heart around our handprints but you don’t need to.
