Free Easter Scattergories Printable Game
This Easter Scattergories printable is a fun way to get everyone thinking creatively while keeping with the spring theme.
Whether you’re playing with kids, teens, or adults, the game is easy to set up and doesn’t require the original board game.
What’s Included in the Download
When you grab the printable, you’ll receive four full-page Scattergories game boards. Each board has a different Easter-themed word at the top to guide your answers:
- FIND
- HUNT
- LAMB
- EGGS
Each game board features the same seven categories:
- Easter candy
- Hiding place
- Easter gift
- Easter movie
- Spring animal
- Spring flower
- Easter bunny
All four sheets are designed to print on standard 8.5×11″ paper, with one board per page. There’s no cutting involved — just print and play.
Tips for Printing and Setup
- Paper choice: Regular printer paper works well, but cardstock makes the boards sturdier if you plan to reuse them.
- Pens or markers: Give each player something to write with and a flat surface to lean on.
- Timer: Set a 3- to 5-minute timer for each round. If you’re playing with younger kids, feel free to extend the time.
- Delivery: The file will be emailed to you. If it doesn’t show up within a few minutes, check your junk or promotions folder.
You can print as many copies as you need for personal or classroom use. Just make sure each player has their own board, or play in teams if you’re working with younger children.
How to Play Easter Scattergories
If you’ve never played Scattergories before, the goal is simple: fill in each category with a word that starts with a specific letter — and try to be the only one with that answer.
You’ll score a point for every unique response that no one else at the table has.
The original game includes a 20-sided letter die, but don’t worry if you don’t have one — our Easter Scattergories printables have you covered.
Each board already has a starting word at the top (like “HUNT” or “EGGS”) to guide your answers. You won’t need any other supplies beyond a timer and something to write with.
To play:
- Give each player a board.
- Set a timer for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Players write an answer for each category that starts with the letter at the top of the page.
- When time’s up, compare answers — duplicate answers don’t count!
- The player with the most unique answers wins that round.
This Easter version keeps things simple for kids while still offering a fun challenge for older players.
