Free Christmas Dot to Dot Printables
Let’s make this holiday season extra fun with our Christmas dot to dot printables!
My son always loves connecting the dots and watching festive pictures appear, and it’s a great way for him to practice counting and number recognition.
After connecting the dots, he gets to enjoy coloring in his creations, which makes the activity even more exciting.
These Christmas printables are perfect for younger children, especially preschool and kindergarten, but honestly, they’re great for anyone who loves a bit of holiday-themed fun.

These Christmas connect the dots worksheets are super easy to set up, no prep required! All you need are a few basic supplies you probably already have at home, and you’re ready to go.
Supplies needed:
- cardstock (but printer paper will work too)
- coloring pencils
- coloring pens (these are great for the outline, and are the ones we used)
Directions:
Simply click to print the worksheets below. Each one prints on a full page in portrait mode. Be sure to check your printer settings for the best quality, especially if you’re switching between color and black-and-white printing.
While regular printer paper works just fine, we recommend using cardstock for a sturdier result, especially if the kids plan to color the final images. Cardstock also makes it easier for younger children to handle their work.
Hand the printables to the kids and let them connect the dots, watching as the festive images appear. This activity not only keeps them entertained but also reinforces counting and number recognition skills.
Once the dots are connected, the fun doesn’t stop! Have them color in the images with pencils, markers, or crayons for a creative touch.
The eight festive images include:
- A string of Christmas lights
- Santa Claus (check out our Santa handprint template too!)
- Candy cane house
- Festive Christmas penguin (you might also enjoy our penguin handprint template and life cycle of a penguin worksheets)
- Another candy cane house
- Christmas penguin wearing earmuffs
- Christmas pudding
- Christmas penguin with a scarf
No prep is needed—just print and go! While the title on each page prints in color, the rest of the worksheet prints in black and white, so you can easily print in black and white to save on ink.
These easy, no-fuss activities make them perfect for last-minute holiday fun or a simple, stress-free way to keep little ones engaged.
