Supplies needed

Before you start playing, make sure you have these things ready:

Setting up

Getting our birthday bingo game set up is a breeze and loads of fun! Here’s how to prepare for some bingo excitement:

Start by printing out the game. You can print it in color for a vibrant look or in black and white if that’s easier. While we recommend using thick paper like cardstock to make the game cards more durable, any paper will do just fine. You’ll find the game spread out across 6 pages.

The first 5 pages contain your bingo cards, each featuring unique birthday-themed pictures. If you plan on playing this game multiple times, consider covering them with thin plastic film using a laminator to protect them from damage.

The last page contains all the pictures for the caller to use. You’ll need to cut these out so the caller can randomly select them during the game.

How to play birthday picture bingo

Playing birthday party bingo is just as simple as getting it ready:

Each player receives their own bingo card. If you have a large group with more than 5 players, some may end up with identical cards, which can still be loads of fun!

You can use dot markers, pens, or even stickers to mark your card when you hear your pictures being called out.

Select a caller; this person draws the picture cards and announces them to everyone. For instance, they might say, “Cake!” If you have a cake on your card, mark it off.

Continue marking the pictures on your card as they’re called out. Your goal is to complete a full line marked off. This line could be vertical, horizontal, or even diagonal. Remember, you can use the free space too!

Once you have a line completed, shout “Bingo!” as loudly as you can!

The caller will then check your card to ensure your “Bingo!” is correct by examining your line and the pictures you’ve marked.

If your bingo is verified, you win! If everyone is eager to keep playing, simply set up the game again and perhaps aim for a different type of line this time.

Feel free to shake up the rules a bit to add some extra excitement or tailor them to suit the age group of the players. The most important thing is to share laughs, have a blast, and soak up the lively birthday atmosphere with all the players.
