Printable memory games are great for preschoolers and younger kids, but I must admit I love them too. They are such a simple game, and the first ever game my son won. You know, really won, not me letting him win.
This penguin matching game printable features 12 different images of penguins that the children need to match. Plus the kids can decorate the backs of the cards too.

Penguin matching game printable
This fun memory game is designed to engage and educate young learners. This free printable offers a fun and interactive way to enhance their understanding of different weather conditions.
Get ready to challenge their memory skills while exploring the fascinating world of weather patterns and elements.
Supplies needed:
- cardstock (normal paper will work, but you might be able to see the images through it)
- Crayola crayons, or coloring pencils (if you want to decorate the back of the cards)
- paper cutter or scissors
- laminator (optional)
How to play the printable memory game?
Download the weather memory game below. There is 1 page included with 12 different images on and it will print out in portrait. Make sure to check the printer settings.
You will need to print this page out twice.
We like to decorate the back of the images. So cut around the border around the edge so you are just left with the 12 images.
Then just grab your coloring pens (these are the ones we love and use all the time) and have fun.
When you have printed the 2 pages you will need to cut out all of the different images.
I prefer to use a paper cutter as it’s easier, quicker, and more accurate, but scissors will work too.
Shuffle them up and lay them on the table face down in rows to make it easier, or just randomly on the table for older kids.
If you are placing them in rows I find 4 rows with 6 images each works best.
Playing the game is simple. Take it in turns to turn over only 2 images. If it is a match you can either remove them from the game and place them in front of you or leave them turned over face up.
The winner is the person who creates the most matches.
