Easter Placemats to Print and Color
Each of these free printable Easter placemats is packed with fun, low-mess activities designed to keep kids focused at the table while you prep dinner or catch your breath.
Last Easter, we printed a stack and left them out with washable crayons—it kept the kids busy long enough to actually drink my coffee hot.
The designs are simple enough for preschoolers but still engaging for older kids, making them a great fit for mixed-age family gatherings.
Fun Easter-Themed Activities on Every Placemat
There are four unique placemat designs, and each one includes a variety of Easter-themed games and coloring sections:
- Coloring areas – Easter eggs, bunnies, spring flowers, and more
- Tic Tac Toe – Quick and familiar for even the youngest kids
- Easter word scramble – Perfect for older children who enjoy wordplay
- “How many carrots?” and “How many Easter eggs?” – Visual counting activities
- Spot the difference – A favorite with all ages
- Easter mazes – Two styles per page to challenge spatial reasoning
- Sudoku puzzles – A fun, screen-free logic activity for kids who like a challenge
Tips for Printing and Using
Print these on standard paper or cardstock for durability. We like using 11×17″ cardstock for extra space, but 8.5×11″ works just as well.
Laminate them for reuse, or just set them out with washable markers or crayons.
Tip: Keep a container of coloring supplies at the kids’ table to make this feel like part of the setup—not just an afterthought.
Easter-Themed Books to Pair with the Placemats
If you’re setting up a spring activity corner or looking for screen-free ways to keep the kids entertained, these Easter books are a great addition.
- How to Catch the Easter Bunny – A fun, silly story that younger kids love.
- It’s Not Easy Being a Bunny – A great early reader with a sweet message.
- Construction Site: Spring Delight – Lift-the-flap book that’s perfect for Easter morning.
These make great basket fillers or can be set out next to the placemats for some quiet reading time.
